Antitrust: Another perspective

A variant of this has been featured in the Kaleo, which you can read here.

Earlier I discussed the anti trust issues Microsoft faced, how they recovered, and the path Apple is taking.

Now, I'm gonna talk about another company that's being targeted for Antitrust issues, Google.

Why Google? Let's see... They are the largest search provider in the World, they provide services for email, documents and spreadsheets, a netbook OS, a phone OS... Just about everything.

However, what makes Google different is that their services are FREE and efficient. They aren't broken down like IE6, and it's something that consumers can use. For Google to use aggressive monopolistic tactics would assume they would try to eliminate their competition in any way possible. However, as far as I know, Google hasn't done such a thing. The thing is, the reason Google doesn't have a large competition is because their products work, and they work pretty damn well.
